Globasure Smart Roaming Raises The Standard in POS Terminal Network Connectivity

Good day all. Globasure’s Smart Roaming Solution (gROAM) has indeed raised the standard in POS terminal network connectivity in Nigeria. The CBN has stated that one of the major challenges facing the adoption of the cash policy nationwide is the issue of POS terminal network connectivity downtime in Nigeria. The gROAM SIM card basically solves this problem by enables GPRS POS terminal to tap into the strongest network  operator signal available in any given vicinity.

The Smart Roaming Module (SRM) is a dedicated application that allows switching seamlessly between the different authorized operators present on the Globasure SIM card. Therefore, the Globasure SIM card will connect first to its “preferred” operator (which is saved into its own list) and in case of failure of this network the SRM module will automatically switch the secondary available network.
