Reflections on the Unilag Trade Fair

As the Student Trade Fair draws to a close, it is time to reflect on the past 5 days. The fair has been very exciting, tough and engaging, the atmosphere in Unilag is vibrant and it has been a joy to connect with these very bright young minds throughout the week. The students have shown a deep interest in the idea of electronic payments and the cashless society. To my surprise, a number students we engaged not only signed up to be ServPoint Mobile merchants, but they also gave us good advice on how we could improve our product and services which I really appreciated. It is very satisfying to know that a good proportion of Nigerian students embrace the idea of running their own businesses and making money for themselves. I think other companies across verticals in Nigeria should follow Globasure’s example and effectively connect with student communities,because building a strong relationship with youths can be very fulfilling and financially beneficial in the long term.
